I started the Couch to 5 K program on saturday. Today was my second day of the program. I have not had any running experience before though I did use to play soccer quite actively a couple of years ago. I used to smoke but i quite 3 months ago.
I am following the plan they have given and for the first week it says to walk 90 seconds and jog 60 seconds for a total of 20 minutes. however, I cannot make it that long. I have to stop and take a break around the ten minute mark. I walk the rest of the way around my track (its a 4 km square). Has anyone else had first time experience like that?
