I love having a big family. Four still live at home and I sure miss the one who moved out.
"Fake it until you become it" --- I like it! Several months ago, someone asked me what I did for exercise and I said "I'm a runner." Then I mentally face-palmed myself thinking, "No, you should have said, 'I'm trying to become a runner'." Looking back, of course I was a runner. I get blue if I don't run. On the other hand, looking at my new training schedule sometimes overwhelms me, so I try to just look at what's on tap for today and what I need to plan for tomorrow.
And this all happened because at the age of 49 I thought 5Ks looked like fun and I wanted to run one before I turned 50 ~ and a friend of my quiped, "Better hurry!"
